They assert the authority of their religion over the authority of the secular government and the rights of an individual to choose his own religion. Article 18 of the UN Declaration of Universal Human rights defines freedom of religion as a basic right of all persons. <br /><br />What the muslims truly fear is, people given the fredom to choose their own religion will see Islam for what it is: a violent, sadistic cult which enslaves its own members and threatens adherents of other religions with violence and death. <br /><br />A true religion of peace, as islam claims to be, attracts adherents through the superiority of its philosphies, not threats of violence. <br /><br />Reasonable people would see the christian churchs' use of the term 'Allah' for their own God as flattering Islam. It is, in fact an opening for Islam to gather converts to worship "the true Allah", or would be if muslims had the confidence in their own beliefs to exploit it. <br /><br />The opposite, violent reaction serves only to emphasize the moral degeneracy of Islam as a cult of violence and death from which any true person of peace would be all too anxious to leaveAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
